This is the first self help book that I have ever read. The Pointers and suggestions in the book are solid reasoning. This book covers some topics that you might not think of in everyday life when talking to people, topics that will help you be more popular and palatable to those with whom you are conversing or intend to converse with.
This book also has excellent pointers on how to be an effective manager, whether it’s at work socially or with family, he breaks down some of the key dues and don’ts of management.
Good book if you are a new leader, or a leader who doesn’t have significant experience. It does a great job laying out the fundamental principles that every leader needs in the “business of people”. Most principles while are common sense, they do encompass critical baseline experiences that can help you in your line of work. Overall, good read.
