    Who would have thought I'd be so excited to try something like fasting. Good book. To the point, with great contributors. I'd recommend anyone and everyone read it if you're interested in learning how to manage your weight, think clearer, and fight disease.

    Had to buy this after reading "the obesity code" from the local library. We've been trying lchf and intermittent fasting for the last couple years. This really tied it all together. My wife started reading it and decided to try the seven day fast. She ended up having to stop using her bp meds.

    I was recently introduced to the work of Dr Fung by a friend after being recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This book is a must read if you want a clear straight forward no nonsense understanding on how food works in our body, how to loose weight without going on any fad diets (because they don't work and he'll explain why) and how to fast sensibly. What I also like is that Dr Fung isn't trying to sell us any products as so often happens.
